Summer Programme

Plymstock Camera Club Summer Programme

Field photography trip to Seaton Wetlands on Thursday 13th June

The plan is to meet at Lee Mill in the Edinburgh Woollen Mill car park at 8.45 am and car sharing will be sorted out from there, with the intention to then leave at 9.00 am.  The intention is to leave promptly (so please don't be late).
From Lee Mill the journey is approximately 1hour, 20 minutes and approx 60 miles.

If the wetlands proves to be (too) quiet then the intention is to go into Seaton Town / Seafront to get some images there. It should be a fun day with 5 members already known to be going.

Potential members are welcome.  Please make contact through this website in the first instance.  Members please make contact directly as in your email sent by the Secretary.

If you can't make the time stated but still fancy going along, the postcode is EX12 2SP (for sat navs) going through Seaton Cemetery to the wetlands car park and meet there.

The day should last until around 4 o'clock.   Admission is free.

Do bring food and drinks, as it appears that refreshments are only available Saturdays to Mondays.
Please prepare for all eventualities of weather including suitable footwear.
If you have binoculars you may wish to bring them.
Feel free to bring partners and photographer friends.
An information sheet is attached and you can also get further information from their website at  https://eastdevon.gov.uk/countryside/seaton-wetlands/visiting-seaton-wetlands/

It would be useful to know as early as possible if you would like to go

Can potential organisers please bear in mind when planning events that some members work and seek to make events either weekends (very busy) or evenings if suitable?

This page will list any proposed or planned events of Plymstock Camera Club as soon as details arrive, so please re-visit often.
