External Competitions and Qualifications
A number of organisations offer qualifications and exhibitions for photographers. Please use the following links to view their websites.
Gerry Trophy - (Saltash, Plymouth and Plymstock) Hosted by Plymouth Camera Club at Wolseley Road Community Hall. This is an inter club competition of our best monochrome images, consisting of 10 digital projected images, not more than two per member. Digital Projected Images must be .jpg files set at maximum quality, with a maximum size of 1600px wide and 1200 px high. This does not prevent you from having your digital images presented in ‘letterbox format' or in a ‘square format'. An external judge will award points per image with the total number of points per club deciding the winner. |
Tamar Trophy - (Saltash, Plymouth, Plymstock and Ivybridge) Hosted by Plymouth Camera Club at Wolseley Road Community Hall. This is an inter club competition of our best monochrome images, consisting of 10 monochrome prints, with no more than two per member. All prints must be mounted. Mount sizes are to be 400 x 500 mm. No name, signature or other identifying mark is to be made on the front of the mount. An external judge will award points per image with the total number of points per club deciding the winner. The Judge will also award the “judges choice” on the night for one image giving an individual award given to one photographer. |
